I'm taking a break from studying and application writing to comment on Justin Verlander--Rookie of the Year last year and the first no hitter by a Tiger since 4/7/1984 and first in Detroit by a Tiger since 1952!!!
Last night felt so much more like October than June. Thank you Justin for a wonderful break in the insanity...

He was absolutely stunning that night, Vic. Some people said his fastball was 102 mph in the 9th inning. That's absolutely unbelievable. The Tigers have a gem in Verlander. You'll forgive me for still rooting against them :)
